General Terms and Conditions


NOTE - WE ARE A TRADE SUPPLIER. This may affect your
consumer rights.


Use of Goods 
Danmat Ltd supplies goods on the understanding that they are fitted/operated by experienced and knowledgeable persons within the plumbing and heating industry and that they hold the appropriate qualifications to their trade applicable to the product(s) supplied. Put simply, Danmat Ltd does not supply D.I.Y. products. 

Prices 
Prices shown are correct at going to press, but may be subject to change without prior notice. 

Technical Advice 
At the request of a customer we may, without obligation, give technical advice with reference to our products or materials. This advice is given on the express understanding that any such advice or assistance is given and accepted at the customer’s risk. Danmat Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage or claims arising either directly or indirectly from any advice offered. 


Warranty
All goods supplied by Danmat Ltd are supplied with a 12 month warranty against faulty workmanship and/or manufacture. Any warranties offered beyond this period by the product manufacturer should be dealt with directly with the manufacturer.

Returns Policy 
We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Danmat Ltd. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.


Need to return an item?

Note that, as a trade outlet, we reserve the right to charge up to 20% restocking.
Returns should be authorised by email - to confirm details /address.

Items Damaged in Transit 
If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days from receipt. If the items / packagings are visibly damaged on receipt, you must sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. 


Items Faulty on Arrival 
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 7 working days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. We test all returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage. 

Items Faulty in Warranty Period 
If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's more than 7 working days since receipt, then provided your item is within the 12 month warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement. Prior to returning any goods you must first contact Danmat Ltd by Email, phone or in writing. We test all returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.


Change of mind / Ordered in Error

If you have 'changed your mind' / 'ordered in error'about any item ordered and you wish to return it, you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at Danmat Ltd and checked for perfect resalable condition, we'll issue a refund (excluding postage) for the product to your original payment method.

Please note as a Trade to Trade outlet we may charge 10-20% restocking charge to handle administration costs.


Retention of Title 
Ownership of goods supplied shall not pass to the purchaser until the full invoice value is paid under this or any other contract with the company. Until the price is paid in full, goods held in the buyer’s possession are held by him as bailee on the company’s behalf. 

Errors or Omissions 
Errors or omissions are subject to correction.
