Do you support businesses?

Yes we do support businesses under our normal working arrangements. Server systems with up to approximately 20 workstations can be supported at present.

Do you repair laptops?

YES.

Can you recover my data from my broken hard drive / CD / DVD?

YES. We have specialised equipment to recover data from all kinds of storage devices. If the data is there somewhere, we can get it back for you.
Hard drive - 90% average success rate.
CD/DVD - 80% average success rate.
USB sticks - 30% average success rate

What are your charges?

We always try to remain competitive and constantly review our pricing structures. We charge by the hour with a minimum charge of one hour. We openly admit that we are not the cheapest; our prices reflect a quality service.

Are your technicians qualified?

The computer repair industry requires a special kind of knowledge which can only be obtained from experience. Let no one tell you different.
All our engineers are carefully selected and have all the necessary experience required backed up by our own technician support program.

Do you repair printers, scanners or monitors?

No to monitors, sorry. Most home printers/scanners cannot be repaired economically but we can repair business (expensive) printers/scanners.

Do you support Windows 98 or Millennium?

Windows 98 and Millennium are, in computer terms, very old operating systems and are unable to to cope with modern hardware and software demands. You would help yourself if you upgraded.

However, if you wish, we can send a technician to assist to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately, as we no longer train our engineers for this kind of work, we cannot offer the 'no fix no fee' guarantee. Sorry.

What guarantees do you offer?

All hardware supplied is guaranteed for twelve months against manufacturing defects. The guarantee is limited to the cost for replacement item and the labour to replace.

Software problems rectified can only be guaranteed at the time of repair. Often it is impossible to tell what caused the problem initially and/or beyond our control therefore a reoccurrence cannot be guaranteed against.
The best prevention is to back up your data which we can certainly help you with.

What if I cancel?

Providing you can give us 24 hour notice of cancellation we will not make any charges. If this is not possible will charge the minimum one hour.

Do you offer training?

We can help with technical problems and data loss prevention. Our technicians will offer help with basic application (e.g. Microsoft Office, Sage) use but are not trained in advanced practices. If you have a problem we will try our best to help.
So the answer to the question is maybe.

Can you help with IT purchasing and sourcing?

Yes we can. We have helped to save '1000's for companies by offering the right advice. We do NOT sell computer equipment so we have nothing to gain by offering inflated advice - unlike some companies we could mention.

What if you can't fix my computer?

If our technician is unable to repair your computer due to lack of skill or knowledge, we do not charge. Not one single penny.

This guarantee does not apply in circumstances such as Data Recovery where we have the knowledge and skills but the data is impossible to retrieve.
The guarantee would also not apply if we are prevented from completing the work. Examples; if we are asked to stop due to cost, a problem with software licences or because of warranty restrictions.

What if I have a complaint?

If you have cause for complaint, be assured that we will take this very seriously. In the event of reasonable complaint, we will refund any charges relating to the specific complaint or quickly rectify the problem.

Am I stupid or is it my computer?

It's the computer! We fully understand this important principle.

In our experience, 99% of confusion is caused by the computer communicating poorly or being just plain wrong.
